Journal cancellation list: We are still interested in receiving your input

In the May issue of the newsletter, we posted a list of possible journal and database cancellations for 2012.  If you have not reviewed the list and sent comments, please take the time to do so.  Comments can be sent to John Weed, Head of Collection Resources, weedj@uthscsa.edu.

  1. Dr. Jeremiah Herlihy says:

I would urge the library not to cancel our subscription to Journal of Physiology. For my area,Physiology, this is the most prestigious and historically the earliest journal devoted to Physiology. In addition to publishing quality articles right now, it is a storehouse of past findings. Thus, access to present and earlier articles in this journal is crucial for continuation of scholarly work (publication of new knowledge and accurate writing of review articles and books) in Physiology. Again, I urge the library not to cancel this subscription.
