The first yearbook of the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio was published in 1970. It was titled Curandero, which is the Spanish term for healer. The yearbook was subsequently published under the following titles: Aesculapius (1981-82, 1984-90, 1992-present); Grand Rounds (1983); and Caduceus (1991). To our knowledge, yearbooks were not produced for all years. Yearbooks were not produced from 1974-1976, and 1976-1980. The yearbooks are a product of the student association and are designed by the fourth year medical students.
All of the yearbooks in the Digital Archive are either owned by the UT Health Science Center Libraries, or have been loaned to the library for digitization purposes. Years 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, and anything more recent than 2011 are currently missing from the Digital Archive; if you have a copy of any of these years and would like to lend it to the library for digitization, please contact the Digital Archive Team at DigitalArchive@uthscsa.edu.
