The Circuit Librarian Health Information Network (CLHIN) provides ready access to medical library services, continuing education opportunities to nurses, and workshops on evidence based practice to all participating hospitals’ physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff. HOLIDAY SERVICE HOURS 2014: From Monday, December 22nd through Friday, January 2nd, service will not be available through CLHIN. Requests submitted for articles will be processed after January 2nd. Requests for searches related to patient care emergencies should be sent to email@example.com. This email account will be monitored by on-call librarians periodically between December 22nd and January 2nd.
CLHIN Library services provide immediate access to medical library services in the absence of a fully staffed and equipped in-house library. Articles are provided from UT Health Science Center Libraries’ collection of over 4,000 journal titles and searches are conducted by professional librarians on MEDLINE and other medical databases.
