At this busy holiday time, it is often difficult to find the perfect gift for all the people on your list. Consider a monetary gift to the library! A gift to the library in honor of a friend, relative, or colleague is a gift that keeps on giving. The library uses gift donations to fund purchases of books and to support special events, such as the One Community/One Book program. Tribute and memorial bookplates are placed in appropriate books for donations of $50 or more. Larger gifts can be designated for an express purpose. For example, the library received a generous gift from Virginia Bowden PhD, emerita Library Director, and Charles Bowden MD, clinical professor of psychiatry and pharmacology, designated for support of the University Archives.
All gifts are tax deductible and will be acknowledged.
Donations can be made through the HSC Connect Donate secure website at https://makelivesbetter.uthscsa.edu/SSLPage.aspx?pid=513 or through the Giving to the Libraries page at http://www.library.uthscsa.edu/about/giving.cfm. Larger donations can be discussed with the Development Office or with Rajia Tobia, Executive Director of Libraries.
All gifts are greatly appreciated and put to good use.
