The Laredo Regional Campus Library has full access to the electronic resources licensed by The Libraries. In addition, the library has a variety of print books and journals and a collection of consumer health materials.
Mr. Victor Oliveros, a pioneer in border health issues in Laredo/ Nuevo Laredo as a founder of the U.S. Mexico Border Health Commission, was Chief of Environmental Health Services for the City of Laredo Health Department. Mr. Oliveros retired in 2005 and donated many print materials and slides to the Laredo Regional Campus Library. Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan
Books, articles, journals and other library materials located at the Briscoe Library in San Antonio may be requested by Laredo Campus personnel at no charge through Document Delivery. Materials not owned by the UTHSCSA Libraries may be requested through Interlibrary Loan. There may be no charge for some Interlibrary Loan materials. Please contact Chris Gaspard at email@example.com with questions. Articles not available online can usually be scanned and delivered electronically to the Laredo Regional Campus Library.
Wireless access is available in the library. Wireless users are requested to register their laptops to access the network. In Laredo, laptops can be registered by calling the Briscoe Library at (210) 567-2440.
Library computers are available with Internet, email, Microsoft Office products and provide access to all electronic resources available on the main campus. Printing is available in the Laredo Regional Campus Library.

Training and Classes
Hands on training in the use of the library catalog, Ovid, PubMed, RefWorks and other resources is offered periodically or by request. A list of currently-scheduled training classes may be found online.
