Augmented Reality App for Moles

DoctorMole is an mobile application that has been around for Android for a wh

ile, but is now available for iOS as well. DoctorMole uses augmented reality (here is a basic overview of augmented reality) to give realtime feedback on Asymmetry, Border, Color, Diameter and Risk (ABCDE). After it has made an initial analysis of the mole, it allows you to save the image, to see if the mole has any change in theĀ future.

At each stage of the ABCDE approach, DoctorMole explains the information in basic terms which can also aid in patient education, and enable patients to recognize potential moles that need expert analysis. The app is free in the Android Market, and cost $3.99 for iOS.
