Liaisons Present a Poster at the Fall Education Showcase

The Library Liaisons presented a poster (linked below) entitled “Briscoe Library Liaison Program – Supporting the Curriculum” at the Fall Education Showcase and the Academy of Master Teachers Induction Ceremony held on September 28.  At the showcase, liaisons were able to network with faculty about education research and share information about teaching strategies within the UT Health community.  The poster visually represents how the Liaison Program contributes to UT Health’s educational efforts.  The program, which has been in existence since April 2016, focuses on integrating liaison activities, such as producing specialized subject guides, providing evidence-based practice instruction, and connecting patrons to appropriate information resources, into the curriculum.  The liaisons work on promoting the library as not only a place for active collaboration, but also promote active collaborative partnerships with faculty, staff, and students.
