Career planning and information site from the AAMC, designed to help medical students “choose a medical specialty and select and apply to a residency program.” Includes a categorized list of links related to career planning, specialty selection, debt management, and job search sites tailored to physicians and medical students.
Students must receive an access code from one of the UTHSC’s CiM Liaisons and register to begin using the password-protected portions of the Web site.
CareerMD.com is a free tool on career planning for medical students, residents, fellows and new physicians.
Job & Career Accelerator is the first fully integrated online career and job search platform. It is designed to guide any job seeker through the most effective career selection and job search possible.
Learning Express Library is a unique, interactive online learning platform that provides patrons with the most comprehensive selection of career-oriented and academic resources available—to help with job preparation, career advancement, career changes, and re-entry into the workforce.
Lists, by speciality, of 4th-year rotations recommended for medical students interested in particular career paths. These lists were compiled by the Texas A&M Health Science Center, and some aspects reflect their own school’s requirements.
