The library now has dedicated access to PolicyMap!


PolicyMap LogoEarlier this year we ran a trial of PolicyMap, and thanks to all your feedback we were able to secure a full license. Thank you! Your feedback is invaluable in helping us choose the best resources for the campus.

What is PolicyMap?

An online (no software installation needed) U.S. national data and mapping tool and analytics platform with multidisciplinary applications for college students and faculty. Undergraduate and graduate schools use PolicyMap in their curriculum and research related to social sciences, urban studies, real estate and housing analysis, community and economic development, public administration, public health, policy and political science, education, business, economics, statistics, and geography, among others. Users can leverage thousands of U.S. data indicators in PolicyMap to perform demographic and socioeconomic analysis, from a neighborhood census block group in many cases up to a national level, as well as create custom regions for their research and studies.

PolicyMap for Data and Community Health

LibKey Nomad

Introducing a new tool for accessing library resources:

Users can now download the LibKey Nomad browser extension for easy, one-click access to scholarly articles through the UT Health San Antonio Library.

LibKey Nomad automatically provides instant links to articles from journals subscribed to by your library – and Open Access sources – connecting you to literature discovered on the web. It works with your library to determine the fastest path to content across thousands of publishers and millions of articles and adds support to PubMed, Wikipedia and hundreds of other scholarly publisher websites and research databases.

UT Academic Health Works

This feature is meant to showcase one thesis or dissertation and a DNP project to share some of the topics and areas of interest being researched by UT Health graduate students, both past and present.
