SON Liaison Co-authors Article on “Sizing Up” Systematic Reviews
Emme Lopez, MLS, Liaison to the School of Nursing, recently published her first article entitled, “Methodology minute: A guide for infection preventionists for sizing up systematic reviews”. Dr. Patti Grota, PhD, CNS-M-S, CIC, FAPIC and faculty at the SON invited Emme to work on the publication with her and Linda McKinley, RN, BSN, MPH, CIC to provide input on the systematic review process. The article is intended to familiarize clinicians in the field of infection prevention with identifying key aspects of a systematic review and applying the review to practice.
