STAT!Ref Subscription to End August 31, 2026
The UT San Antonio HSC Libraries will discontinue the STAT!Ref subscription effective August 31, 2026.
This decision follows a comprehensive three-year evaluation of the resource, including its content, usage, and cost. During this period, several key titles were removed from the STAT!Ref package, while subscription costs continued to increase. Combined with consistently low usage, these changes reduced the overall value of the resource for the HSC community.
As part of the Libraries’ ongoing collection review process, resources are regularly evaluated to ensure they continue to meet the educational, research, and clinical needs of the HSC community.
Faculty, staff, and students who currently use STAT!Ref are encouraged to contact their liaison librarian for assistance identifying alternative resources that provide comparable content and functionality.
