Does the Nixon Library have books made out of human skin?

Bridgid Ellard Senior Presentation

Brigid Ellard is a high school senior at Basis San Antonio with interests in archeology, anthropology, and bookbinding.

Since late February, she has been working on a unique school project in the Nixon Library to answer the unprecedented question: are there any books in the Nixon Library bound in human skin?

After a long and detailed examination of the entire Nixon collection, Brigid chose multiple books bound in unknown leather to send for testing and now she is ready to share the results. Join us today in the Collaboratory (4.076) at 3:00 P.M.
