About the Speaker
Dr. Schmelz is a Hematology/Oncology fellow at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Schmelz has clinical and research interests in classical and malignant hematology, including bleeding disorders and coagulopathies.
He has served as Chief Resident for Research and Education in Internal Medicine and remains dedicated to medical education and the advancement of evidence-based care.
