A Message From the Executive Director of Libraries

Welcome! If you are new to the UT Health San Antonio, welcome to this amazing academic health center. If you are returning, welcome back. This is a very special place with top-ranked academic programs, inspiring research, and exceptional clinical care and the very best students, faculty, and staff!
Fall 2025 will be a unique beginning to this academic year. With the merger of UT San Antonio and UT Health San Antonio officially approved as of September 1, 2025 by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), this year marks the beginning of the next exciting chapter in our history as the University of Texas at San Antonio. As a part of the merger, the Libraries of UT San Antonio and the Health Science Center will be exploring how to collaborate and integrate. For the first year, the Libraries will remain distinct and each will serve the students, faculty, and staff in the same ways we have in the past. Beginning this semester, we will share more information with you about what is ahead.
The UT Health San Antonio Libraries team has developed this site to help you start your semester right! We are here to serve you and help ensure that you thrive and succeed here. We look forward to the coming months and hope that the Fall 2025 Semester is a great one for you!
